Rebirth of my blog. My own domain. A happy moment.

As you must have observed it, I have invested my money in buying a domain name for my blog. It has been 3 years that I was using the facility of blogger domain which is by far one of the superb hosting services. I still am using its webhosting as I am yet to find a suitable private hosting provider.

The need for a personal website is due to the ever expansion of information on my blog and also due to some emotional reasons. I wished for my own brand name and here it is. I now OWN this name. I OWN www.TechExplorer.in. This itself says everything. I feel independent. I feel the happiness of the entrepreneur inside me. Jal-Infotech.blogspot.com is now www.TechExplorer.in (yes, please don’t forget the ‘www’ prefix).

On the technical side, I used GoDaddy.com’s domain registering service and purchased my own domain name at the rate of $7.99 per domain per year. I configured my blog to redirect all links to my newly purchased domain. After about 6 hours of cautious clicks, I finally managed to get my new website up and running.
