Microsoft has introduced a new application, the ‘Snipping Tool’ in Windows Vista. Many users are just unaware of its existence and so was I, till yesterday. Snipping Tool is a tool that take screen shots of applications running on the screen or a certain part of the screen. Lightweight, yet very efficient tool which Windows Vista users can now use to take screenshots.
Here's how you do it:
1). Click
2). Navigate to All Programs -> Accessories -> Snipping Tool.
3). When you click on it, a window like the one below will appear.

4). User can choose among many options to take the screen shots. Just click on the small arrow beside the ‘New’ button.

5). Options or preferences can be changed by clicking on the ‘Options’ button.
If you still think Alt-Printscreen or Printscreen is the best application for things like these.... well, stick to it! Whatever makes you happy, you see!
